Luminus Insight CIC is a Surrey-based community interest company, driven to see improved services delivered to local people. We care passionately about everyone being able to get the support they need from the NHS, social care, local community and wider services provided to the public, to maintain and improve their wellbeing. Our work involves reaching out to individuals and communities to understand their experiences, and we use this feedback to influence the way services are designed, delivered and improved.
Our work is designed to ensure that people have an effective voice. This includes Healthwatch Surrey (which has statutory powers to ensure the voices of local people are heard in the NHS and social care), Giving Carers a Voice and the Combating Drugs Partnership Public Involvement service.
We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated individual with excellent attention to detail to work on our Healthwatch Surrey service. We are particularly interested in applications from people with good empathetic listening skills and who are confident in taking calls and talking to members of the public.
The work will be varied, and you will interact with many different people across the county (please read the Job description and Person specification for more details).
You will need to have experience working within Surrey and have knowledge of local NHS and social care; be excellent at talking to people; caring and curious about their experiences; have good attention to detail and be confident to be the face of Healthwatch Surrey in meetings to help amplify voices.
You will be part of a Luminus team who are all passionate about hearing from local people, and that has a real say in developing health and social care services, liaising with senior professionals and clinicians to help deliver change for local people. You will need to be proactive, responsive and able to prioritise/manage your own workload.

The salary for the role is £28,215.00 (pro rata for part time £16,929.00) per annum. The role is 22.5 hours per week (including Wed & Friday). The role may occasionally require some travel across Surrey to attend meetings or events.
